PERFECT ENOUGH
(By Nomi Yah)
Your child gets tall, while you are busy
Think of it, isn't it really a shame
If you miss it all, childhood is brief
Picture-books and loose teeth and that Little League game
Man, relax
Life is perfect enough, perfect enough
Lord, it could be better
Sometimes it's rough
But today is perfect enough
Your Jaguar’s fast, but you're running late
You won't catch the plane, but you'll get on the next
And you're flying first-class, trying to achieve
The American Dream, while you're piling up debts
Man, relax
Life is perfect enough, perfect enough
Lord, it could be better
Sometimes it's rough
But today is perfect enough
You should be proud of what you've done
Look how far you've come
It's all a matter of priority, keep up what you're doing
If it doesn't ruin the time that you spend
With your family, you are their rock
And they love when you walk through that door at the end
Of the day
Life is perfect enough, perfect enough
Lord, it could be better
Sometimes it's rough
But today is perfect enough

RIPPED IT APART
(By Nomi Yah, Xsample, Ryan Daisley)
She broke my heart
She ripped it apart
She has changed since the other day
She has changed since I went away
What can I do to make you stay, yeah?
Sorry is all she say
But sorry can’t buy soldier lorry
Nor make the pain go away
Yesterday, last night, today
Or New Year’s Day, yeah
He broke my heart
He ripped it apart…
He has changed since the other day
He has changed since he went away
What can I do to make you stay, yeah?
You told me over and over that you check for me
Forever and ever that’s how it’d be
Well, starting over and over wasn’t my idea
I never even made a Plan B
But now you’re leaving me to fend for myself
I don’t know, I don’t know what I’ll do by myself
And now you’re leaving me just when I need help
Guess I’ll have to pray for myself
She broke my heart
She ripped it apart…
I’ll go far away so you can’t find me den
I’ll do better than Tom Sawyer so you a go want me when
It’s too late, me already gone round the bend
You see me signing autographs and you hand me your pen
What about you and Tom Sawyer? You say he no want you again
You already been used and defiled, loose not tighten
I’m married and settled down, you heard and get frightened
What make it bad, Tom Sawyer a naw me enemy, him are me friend

SECOND CHANCE
(Nomi Yah)
Don't think for a second it's a given
No it's not
It's a privilege not a right to be forgiven
You better not
Have password-protected phone numbers
Different screen names you go under
Double lives, second wives
Don't want a song and dance
If you want a second chance with me
Prove your love to me, buy me jewelry
Like you promised me, flowers and groceries
Fall down on your knees, beg me baby please
If you want a second chance
Don't make me turn into a third wheel
That's not me
Don't think of yourself, think how I feel
I won't be
A spare pair of sunglasses
Unplugged appliances
Won't be number two
Under no circumstance
If you want a second chance with me
Prove your love to me, buy me jewelry
Like you promised me, flowers and groceries
Fall down on your knees, beg me baby please
If you want a second chance
You won't get a third, three-strikes and you're out
I hope that you heard and figured it out
First time you screw up, your number's up
You better be good, you better be good, you better be good
If you want a second chance with me
Prove your love to me, buy me jewelry
Like you promised me, flowers and groceries
Fall down on your knees, beg me baby please
If you want a second chance

LIKE A MILLION
(By Cameron Stymist, Adam Neilson, Nomi Yah, Mike Lounibos, Josh Friedman)
I can’t pay my rent today, gas tank’s running low
I got nothing in the bank, that don’t mean I’m broke
‘Cause when I’m with you, babe
You patch up the holes in my shoes, babe
You put the green in my blues
It’s what you do, it’s what you do
You make me feel like a million
Like a millionaire
You make me feel like I’m really young
Like I really don’t care
About money to go first class, no
About all the things I don’t have
You make me feel like a million
Like a mili-ili-ili-ilion, like a million
Babe, you’re my Ritz Carlton, I been Super Eight
Maxed out credit cards again, I can’t even pay
But when I’m with you, babe
You patch up the holes in my shoes, babe
You put the green in my blues
It’s what you do, it’s what you do
You make me feel like a million
Like a millionaire
You make me feel like I’m really young
Like I really don’t care
About money to go first class, no
About all the things I don’t have
You make me feel like a million
Like a mili-ili-ili-ilion, like a million
‘Cause when I’m with you, babe
You patch up the holes in my shoes, babe
You put the green in my blues
It’s what you do, it’s what you do
You make me feel like a million
Like a millionaire
You make me feel like I’m really young
Like I really don’t care
About money to go first class, no
About all the things I don’t have
You make me feel like a million
Like a mili-ili-ili-ilion, like a million
