People assume because I'm from Texas and wear boots, jeans, and a cowboy hat. that I'm strictly country. But long before I fell in love with country Musix, there was a 7 piece pearl drum set I sat behind for hours upon hours. I was honing my chops, and learning to hang with the cutting edge rock bands of the mid 70s.

AeroSmith, Van Halen, Montrose, Legs Diamond, Moxy, Triumph, Yes, AC/DC, Emmerson Lake & Palmer, Pat Travers, Ozzy Osbourn, James Dio, REO Speedwagon, Kansas, Led Zepplin, ZZ Top, Black Oak Arkansas, Ted Nugent, and a little 3 piece band called RUSH.

I played until my hand bled!
