Stablehand Prophet is an independent artist from Ohio creating music from the crossroads of hard work, horses, faith, darkness, and imagination.
Built from years of life around barns, horses, rough roads, and real-world struggle, Stablehand Prophet creates music that refuses to stay inside one genre. The sound moves freely between gospel, rap, experimental music, heavy 808-driven production, chopper flows, metal, country, Appalachian atmosphere, and cinematic storytelling.
At the center of the music is a simple idea: every song should have its own world.
Some songs sound like a sermon preached in the mud. Some move with the speed and pressure of Midwest chopper rap. Some carry the weight of a gospel testimony. Others step into strange experimental spaces where genre becomes less important than atmosphere, emotion, and the story being told.
Stablehand Prophet’s music is built around characters, storms, horses, faith, the Hollow, and the battle between what breaks a person and what keeps them moving. The songs can be aggressive, mournful, spiritual, strange, beautiful, or all of those things at once.
The name comes from the place where the music was born: the stable. A stablehand works with living creatures that cannot be forced into obedience through strength alone. You have to listen. You have to feel the movement. You have to know when to apply pressure and when to let the reins go loose.
That same philosophy drives the music.
Stablehand Prophet does not make music to fit neatly into a genre. He makes music to build worlds, tell stories, explore sound, and give voice to the things that are difficult to explain.
From gospel to rap. From the barn to the storm. From the real world into the Hollow.
Stablehand Prophet is still preaching.
Working on some new music in a couple songs done hoping to get enough to get together to get a small upgrade so I can upload more songs but they're coming along

The fire burns where the blacktop dies...
Half rodeo. Half freight yard.
Half battlefield. Half arena.
The ones who built the rider are coming in tonight...
Gene Autry rode in singing while Roy Rogers watched the sky,
Tex Ritter brought the old trails where the dust would never die.
Sons of the Pioneers came drifting with the prairie wind,
Hank Williams tuned a heartbreak and the night rolled in again.
Johnny Horton brought the stories from the rivers and the plains,
Charley Pride stood smiling while the freight train sang its name.
Marty drew a border town beneath the campfire glow,
And Cash stood by the railroad where the lonely whistles blow.
The old guard sat together while the sparks climbed toward the stars,
Building worlds from six-string dreams and weather-beaten scars.
Before the metal thunder and before the chopper flow,
They taught a generation how a story ought to go.
One by one they found the fire,
One by one they took a seat.
Every voice became a lantern,
Every ghost became a beat.
**MUSIC CRÜE!**
Every voice that built me rides tonight!
Cowboys, outlaws, poets, dreamers
Beneath the same moonlight!
**MUSIC CRÜE!**
Every ghost still rides with me!
From the saddle to the cipher,
From the blacktop to the sea!
Don Edwards sang of horses while the mountains listened close,
Ian Tyson watched the ridgeline where the cold north wind still blows.
Brenn Hill rode in at sunrise with the smell of sage and rain,
Chris LeDoux brought rodeo thunder shaking every fence and chain.
Then Ned rolled into camp behind the tracks his father laid,
Carrying the same old fire in a brand-new kind of blaze.
Tom T. Hall was telling stories while Red Sovine spoke low,
And Charlie brought the fiddle where the storm clouds like to go.
The cowboys traded memories, the broncs still bucked in dreams,
The campfire glowed with saddle songs and weathered cattle themes.
Every horseman at the fire left hoofprints on the trail,
Teaching riders how to listen when the night winds start to wail.
Waylon kicked the gate wide open, Willie rolled another smoke,
Merle laughed and raised a bottle at a joke nobody spoke.
Kris Kristofferson sat quiet with a notebook in his hand,
Then the Highwaymen rolled through like they still owned every land.
No sheriff could contain them, no fence could hold them long,
Every mile became a lesson, every scar became a song.
The blacktop stretched forever underneath the desert stars,
And every outlaw left a piece of who they really are.
They spoke of freedom, hard roads, love, prison walls, and pain,
The kind of truths that only come from standing in the rain.
The fire burned a little hotter, the night grew wild and free,
And every outlaw at the camp became part of the machine.
Then the speakers cracked with thunder as Tech lit the midnight fuse,
Krizz painted colors through the dark while nobody could lose.
Bizzy hit the gas so hard the whole camp shook with sound,
Bone Thugs brought harmonies that floated over ground.
Twista chased the lightning while Kutt brought pressure to the rail,
Yelawolf rolled southern thunder through the wind and through the hail.
The old cowboys sat laughing while the cadence split the sky,
And every generation watched another one ride by.
Machine-gun rhythm met the campfire, freight trains met the bass,
Every rapid-fire syllable found its proper place.
The poets nodded slowly while the speakers rattled free,
And the old trails met the future in the heart of Music Crüe.
Ozzy laughed into the darkness while Metallica forged steel,
Skid Row brought reckless youth and scars too real not to feel.
Shinedown lit a signal fire for the broken and the lost,
Teaching every wandering soul that survival has a cost.
Then Sabaton came marching with the thunder of the drums,
Bringing ghosts of old battles and the stories they become.
Every voice that fought the darkness found a place beside the flame,
And every rider at the fire finally shared the same name.
No kings.
No crowns.
No gatekeepers tonight.
The cowboy.
The outlaw.
The poet.
The rider.
The warrior.

**Clean Lyrics:**
Forty-one winters carved deep scars in these busted hands,
Built this life outta broken dreams and nobody else’s plans.
Clocked in, got fucked, kept swinging through the smoke and lies,
Smiled with a backbone that carried every promise they crucified.
Worked every dirty corner, every shit shift, every graveyard hour,
Learned real quick the wolves wear neckties and they fucking devour.
Kept my head low, kept my word when the rest were full of shit,
Funny how the loyal ones always pay for the games the selfish quit.
I ain’t saying I was perfect—
Lord knows I’m full of rust.
But I never sold another soul
Just to shine up my own dust.
Every scar became another verse,
Every goodbye carved another line.
You called it “just surviving”…
I called it buying fucking time.
If this is my curtain call…
Don’t cry ‘cause I stumbled, motherfucker.
Remember every time I rose
When the whole damn world crumbled.
I bent…
Never broke.
Lost…
Never quit.
The fire got quieter,
But the flames never truly quit.
If tomorrow finally comes for me…
I’ll meet that bitch standing tall.
If this is my curtain call…
Hear that rapid rhythm—
I was sprinting through another nightmare, dragging every chain they tried to attach,
Everybody talking like they knew me while they tallied up every scratch.
Built another future just to watch the cowards burn it to the ground,
Loudest critics never stood here, never put their money down.
They can keep their plastic kingdoms, shallow crowns and borrowed fame,
I’m still riding through the ashes with a heartbeat they couldn’t tame.
Yeah I heard the whispers—
Bless their little hearts, the spineless ones…
Hope they stretched before they ran their mouths,
Wouldn’t want ‘em pulling something while they’re telling all those lies.
Maybe I was too stubborn.
Maybe I cared too much.
Maybe believing in people
Was always my crutch.
Still…
I’d rather sleep with a clean soul
Than wake up wearing a fake mask.
Some victories never hit the headlines…
They’re just earned in blood and sweat.
I’ve buried pieces of myself
Nobody ever knew.
Left ‘em bleeding underneath the miles
Just to drag my soul on through.
Still found enough heart to hold the reins,
Enough strength to crack a smile again.
The road got lonely as anything…
The nights got colder than death…
But every chapter taught me
Not every hand deserves to hold your breath.
No revenge.
No scoreboard.
No final speech.
Just silence loud enough
To let every memory scream.
If I became the villain
In somebody else’s broken page…
Maybe that’s the price
For finally walking off their stage.
If this is my curtain call…
Don’t lower every light.
Somebody else is out there searching
For a reason left to fight.
Tell ‘em every broken road
Can still become a home.
Tell ‘em even empty hearts
Can learn they’re not alone.
I ain’t asking for forgiveness.
I ain’t begging to belong.
Just remember…
I kept singing
Long after hope was gone.
When the smoke finally settles…
Don’t remember the mistakes.
Remember the stubborn man…
Who kept showing up.
Even when nobody was waiting.

Welcome to the Gospel of the Prophet.
Step right up.
Take a second.
Listen.
Less is more.
Be happy with what you have.
God gave more than we deserved already.
I came through the mud with my boots worn thin
Had a little bit of faith and a whole lot of sin
Had a horse in the field and a prayer in my chest
Had to lose a few things just to see I was blessed
I was chasing the thunder, I was blaming the rain
Till the Lord put a mirror right inside of my pain
Said before you point fingers, before you cast stones
Look down in your spirit, boy, clean your own home
So I follow the Bible
And I follow the horse
One teaches mercy
One teaches force
One says forgive them
One says stand tall
And both say listen
Before you fall
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
God in the storm and hoofprints in the clay
Every song got scripture in it
Every scar still points the way
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
Love God, ride soft, let anger go
Follow the horse through the hollow
And you’ll find your way through the mud below
Remember the commandments, the ten rules of life
Don’t let pride turn your daylight into night
Honor what is holy, keep your hands clean
Say what you mean, don’t worship machines
And the ten rules of the hollow, I learned them in rain
Pressure and release, don’t add to the pain
Don’t pull on the reins when the soul needs room
Don’t curse the dark if you won’t light the moon
Love what you’re given, don’t spit on the small
A stall full of hay can be heaven after all
A quiet old horse, a porch, and the sun
Thank God for the memories
Thank God for the fun
So I follow the Bible
And I follow the horse
One teaches mercy
One teaches force
One says be humble
One says be still
And both say surrender
To God’s will
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
God in the storm and hoofprints in the clay
Every song got scripture in it
Every scar still points the way
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
Love God, ride soft, let anger go
Follow the horse through the hollow
And you’ll find your way through the mud below
Less is more.
Be happy with what you have.
A soft hand can move a thousand pounds.
A loud mouth can lose a blessing.
A hard heart can miss the whole lesson.
Before you blame the world,
look at yourself.
Before you curse the mud,
ask what it taught you.
God was there in the barn.
God was there in the storm.
God was there when I had nothing
but a horse, a prayer, and one more morning.
Every verse, every song, ties back to the same
God above the hollow and horses in His name
Every scripture got a mirror in my life somehow
Every lost road brought me standing here now
I don’t need a palace, I don’t need a throne
I just need the Lord and a horse headed home
I just need the truth when the low end hums
And a little bit of grace when the hard day comes
So thank you for the memories
Thank you for the ride
Thank you for the laughter
And the tears I tried to hide
Thank you for the horses
Thank you for the pain
Thank you for the lessons
Hidden deep inside the rain
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
God in the storm and hoofprints in the clay
Every song got scripture in it
Every scar still points the way
This is the Gospel of the Prophet
Love God, ride soft, let anger go
Follow the horse through the hollow
And you’ll find your way through the mud below
Welcome to the Gospel of the Prophet.
Remember:
Love God.
Use a soft hand.
Be happy with what you have.
Look to yourself before blaming someone else.
The service is over.
But the horse still knows the way home.

Mangrove roots breathing where the water lays low,
Fiddle crying sweet while the reggae bass rolls.
808 under mud where the warm wind moves,
Buzern in the distance with the sunrise on his hooves.
Mist on the manes, and the world don’t feel so heavy,
For once the road ain’t calling me to bleed.
Just coffee, a joint, and horses in the morning,
And a little bit of peace is all I need.
Mist on the manes, mist on the water,
Sun coming up like grace through the trees.
Horses run free where the old roots wander,
And the morning wind feels easy to breathe.
Mist on the manes, soft hooves in the wet ground,
Coffee cup warm and the whole world slow.
Down in the bayou where the low bass rolls,
I thank God for the peace I know.
Spanish moss hanging like curtains in the light,
Frog song fading from the edge of the night.
Old dog sleeping by the screen door frame,
Smoke rings drifting while I whisper their names.
There goes one with his tail held high,
Prancing through the field while the morning dew dries.
Sunlight rising slow over the grass,
Like the whole world finally learned not to move so fast.
There ain’t no rushing today,
Just the peaceful blowing wind,
Carrying the smell of lilacs
And my troubles through the air again.
Fiddle hum soft like a memory found,
Off-beat guitar putting roots in the ground.
Reggae bass rocking where the warm creek bends,
808 moving like a heartbeat again.
And I just sit there chuckling in the haze,
As the sun’s golden rays
Show the dapples on that bay
While he grazes peaceful in the misty morning light.
Mist on the manes, mist on the water,
Sun sitting gold on the tops of the trees.
Horses run free where the old roots wander,
And the bayou wind keeps singing through the leaves.
Mist on the manes, soft hooves in the wet ground,
Coffee cup warm and the whole world slow.
Down in the bayou where the low bass rolls,
I thank God for the peace I know.
Mist on the manes,
Smoke in the air,
Coffee on the porch,
And no hurry anywhere.
Soft nickers in the morning,
Sunlight through the trees,
Buzern wandering easy
Where the bayou meets the breeze.
Mist on the manes,
Mist on the water,
Peace moving slow
Like a horse through the fog.

Yeah…
Stablehand Prophet…
Been a long road.
Lot of miles. Lot of horses.
Lot of people telling me who I’m supposed to be.
Let’s go!
You know I can’t live my life working no 9 to 5,
No matter what they say, I’m doing it my own way.
Time ain’t waiting on me, and they don’t understand,
Forget what people say, I’m doing it my own way.
I tried regular roads, they never fit my soul,
I was built for dirt boots, barn aisles, and cold.
Pitchfork in my hand, sweat running down my face,
Thirty stalls deep, still trying to find my place.
They told me I was too soft, like caring made me weak,
But I seen more truth in a horse than men who barely speak.
Fixed broken gates, filled buckets in the rain,
Bit my tongue through anger, swallowed down the pain.
Watched good horses leave in trailer lights and fog,
Watched my whole world shift like footing under bog.
Lost the job, lost the barn, damn near lost my mind,
Still kept one hand on the rail, one eye on the line.
You know I can’t live my life working no 9 to 5,
No matter what they say, I’m doing it my own way.
Time ain’t waiting on me, and they don’t understand,
Forget what people say, I’m doing it my own way.
In the barn it’s real — slip up, get hurt,
Get kicked, get dragged, get slammed in the dirt!
These roads get cold, these bills don’t wait,
Truck half broke, still chasing fate.
Got Buzz, got faith, got songs, got scars,
Got ghosts in stalls and prayers under stars.
Got no crown, just rail, still ride, still breathe,
If the world wants blood, I still won’t leave!
Montana cold, Ohio rain,
Grandpa gone, Grandma pain.
Bathroom floor, hospital light,
Four-hour freeze just to make daylight.
I been broke, been mad, been lost, been low,
Still somehow found another road to go.
They can laugh, they can doubt, they can call me strange,
But the horse in my chest don’t break for chains!
You know I can’t live my life working no 9 to 5,
No matter what they say, I’m doing it my own way.
Time ain’t waiting on me, and they don’t understand,
Forget what people say, I’m doing it my own way.
Maybe I fall, maybe I crawl,
Maybe I lose everything after all.
Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m late,
Maybe I’m standing outside my own gate.
But I won’t live dead just to look alive,
Won’t trade my horse for a 9 to 5.
If this road burns, then let it burn,
Every scar taught me where to turn.
I don’t need your map, I don’t need your lane,
I made songs out of loss, made rails out of pain.
Built Buzern from the storm, from the hollow, from the mud,
From a heart still beating after everything flood.
So if you see me quiet, don’t think I’m done,
I’m just loading up the next damn run.
No crown on my head, no throne where I stay,
Just boots in the dirt doing it my own way.
You know I can’t live my life working no 9 to 5,
No matter what they say, I’m doing it my own way.
Time ain’t waiting on me, and they don’t understand,
Forget what people say, I’m doing it my own way!
No crown.
Just rail.
Still breathing.
Still here.
Doing it my own way.
Buzern… rock on.

The sun done slipped behind the ridge...
And the shadows found the creek...
Humidity hanging in the trees...
Everything holding its breath...
Then somewhere out there...
One cricket...
Crickets start the rhythm...
Tree frogs find the groove...
Leaves whisper through the holler...
And the whole night starts to move...
Down along the fence line...
Past the cattle gate...
The woods begin their tuning...
As the audience arrives late...
Fireflies drift through darkness...
Like lanterns in the pines...
And every little voice out there...
Falls perfectly in time...
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
No stage lights...
No spotlight...
Just moon and firefly light...
The woods keep the rhythm...
The hills hold every sound...
Welcome to the concert...
Where the whole night gathers 'round...
Way out past the creek bed...
Where the old dirt road disappears...
One cicada starts singing...
Then another finds his ear...
Then another...
Then another...
Then a thousand join the song...
Till the very air is humming...
And the bass rolls all night long...
The ridges start vibrating...
The trees begin to ring...
Like somebody hid a speaker stack...
Inside of everything...
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
Crickets keep the rhythm...
And the cicadas hold it tight...
The woods keep the rhythm...
The hills hold every sound...
Welcome to the concert...
Where the whole night gathers 'round...
Then a horn rolls through the darkness...
Long and low and old...
Steel begins its singing...
Through the valleys and the hollows...
Everything goes quiet...
Just long enough to hear...
The midnight train come rolling...
Like it's been traveling for years...
Then it fades beyond the mountains...
Back into the night...
And the holler takes the stage again...
Till the coming morning light...
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
Crickets...
Frogs...
Cicadas...
Everything feels alive...
Whip-poor-wills are calling...
Owls answer from the trees...
The train has left the station...
But the music never leaves...
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
No singer at the center...
Just the hills beneath the sky...
Whip-poor-wills call across the hillsides, one ridge answering another while old owls join in from deeper in the pine. Their voices drift through the darkness between the trees, crossing creeks and hollows, trading calls beneath the moon as the cicadas hold their endless note beneath them all.
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
Crickets...
Frogs...
Cicadas...
Everything feels alive...
The ridges hum together...
The valleys answer back...
Every creature in the darkness...
Playing on the same track...
Welcome to the concert...
The holler sings tonight...
No singer at the center...
Just the hills beneath the sky...
The train is gone now. The owls grow quiet. The whip-poor-wills fall silent one by one. Frogs slow their rhythm along the creek banks while the cicadas slowly surrender the night. Only the crickets remain, keeping time in the darkness until even they begin to fade, leaving the holler resting beneath the stars.

Sitting on the front porch of an old log cabin in the holler
Moon hanging low beyond the sycamores and poplar
Rain just passed and the ridge still smells like summer rain
Cool air drifting through the valley carrying every refrain
Then the holler started singing...
One deep frog down by the creek:
Another keeping rhythm somewhere hidden in the reeds
Tree frogs tuning up from every branch above my head
Like they been waiting all day long for darkness to be spread
No stage lights...
No ticket line...
No spotlight...
Just nighttime...
And the holler began its nighttime concert
Every creature knew exactly where to start
Tree frogs on the melody
Crickets singing harmony
Playing songs older than these mountains are
And the holler began its nighttime concert
Moonlight pouring silver through the dark
Sit still long enough and you'll hear it
Close your eyes and you'll feel it
The whole Appalachian night singing from the heart
Crickets filled the empty spaces underneath the trees
Like a choir holding notes that drifted on the breeze
Then a Killdeer somewhere down in the floodplain raised its voice
Like the bass section reminding everybody of its choice
Way off through the darkness came a freight train rolling slow
Click-clack through the valley carrying stories as it goes
Foxes yipping on a hillside somewhere far beyond the creek
And an old dog in another holler answering every week
No conductor...
No written score...
Just the mountains...
Wanting more...
And the holler began its nighttime concert
Every creature knew exactly where to start
Tree frogs on the melody
Crickets singing harmony
Playing songs older than these mountains are
Some nights it brings back memories...
Fishing with my grandparents...
Storms rolling through the valley...
Running barefoot through the grass...
But the memories ain't the concert...
The concert brought them back...
And the holler began its nighttime concert
Every voice playing its little part
From the creek down in the shadows
To the train tracks through the lowlands
Every note echoing through my heart
And the holler began its nighttime concert
Long after the daylight fell apart
Tree frogs, crickets, foxes, trains
Summer nights and gentle rains
The whole Appalachian night singing from the heart
Moon hanging low...
Cool air drifting...
The frogs still singing...
The train still rolling...
And the holler plays on...

I don’t brag much.
But I brought receipts.
Hollow King Rider.
No crown, just rail.
808 heart
and the storm don’t fail.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the whole world slow.
I don’t chase the throne.
I ride where the low end goes.
Hollow King Rider.
Mud on my name.
Laugh like a clown
but the horse don’t play.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the bass drop low.
If the room went quiet,
then the Hollow said so.
I don’t talk big
unless the track talk back.
Put nine mouths on the rail
and the horse held that.
Different voices.
Different tones.
Different accents.
Still came home.
Ground go bang-bang,
chain go clap,
808 hit
and the whole room snapped.
I ain’t polished.
I ain’t clean.
I’m mud in the motor
of a rap machine.
They brought shine.
I brought weight.
They brought style.
I brought gate.
Open that.
Let it run.
Watch the Hollow
make the whole thing hum.
Bap-bap-bap.
Rail don’t crack.
Mouth move fast
and the low pull back.
Snap-snap-snap.
Storm goes black.
Horse in the engine
and he don’t look back.
Hollow King Rider.
No crown, just rail.
808 heart
and the storm don’t fail.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the whole world slow.
I don’t chase the throne.
I ride where the low end goes.
Hollow King Rider.
Mud on my name.
Laugh like a clown
but the horse don’t play.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the bass drop low.
If the room went quiet,
then the Hollow said so.
I grin when it shouldn’t work.
That’s the joke.
I drag a dumb idea
till the low end smoke.
Monk chant.
Polka bounce.
Chopper mouth.
Still came out.
Calliope cried.
Choir got low.
Accordion wheezed
and the horse said go.
That ain’t luck.
That ain’t fake.
That’s clean rail
when the mud floor shakes.
I’m the clown
cause I laugh at the wall.
I’m the king
cause I ride through it all.
I’m the G
cause I don’t need gloss.
Put the bass in the dirt
and let the floor talk.
Slow it down.
Pitch it low.
Let the ghost voice lean
where the black winds blow.
Syrup drag.
Mud-thick time.
808 crawl
through the back of my spine.
Then—
Bap-bap-bap.
Bap-bap-bap.
Fast mouth snaps
and the rail bites back.
Grip-tight, spit-fire,
clip-wire, lit-tire,
bass hit quick when the whole track shiver.
Jaw-crack, breath-stack,
snap-back, track-black,
808 kick make the cadence attack.
Rail-rattle, chain-battle,
storm-saddle, throat-crackle,
fast little sermon with a mud-mouth cackle.
No crown, no throne,
just bass in the bone,
one horse running where the dark roots grow.
I don’t force.
I don’t beg.
I don’t chase.
I don’t flex.
I just lay the rail,
give the horse his head,
and the whole damn Hollow
starts raising the dead.
Hollow King Rider.
No crown, just rail.
808 heart
and the storm don’t fail.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the whole world slow.
I don’t chase the throne.
I ride where the low end goes.
Hollow King Rider.
Mud on my name.
Laugh like a clown
but the horse don’t play.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the bass drop low.
If the room went quiet,
then the Hollow said so.
I helped one track breathe.
Put another in the gate.
Made the horse speak tongues
and it still rode straight.
Sixteen mouths tried
and the rail almost burned.
Two runs later,
whole damn map got learned.
I ain’t saying I’m better.
I’m saying I know
when the weather ain’t driving
and the horse needs road.
I know when the choir
is too loud in the mix.
I know when the tag
made the whole thing glitch.
I know when the prompt
got mud in its mouth.
I know when the engine
is trying to get out.
That’s not bragging.
That’s barn-floor facts.
Horseman hands
on a low-end track.
Hollow King Rider.
No crown, just rail.
808 heart
and the storm don’t fail.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the whole world slow.
I don’t chase the throne.
I ride where the low end goes.
Hollow King Rider.
Mud on my name.
Laugh like a clown
but the horse don’t play.
Bap-bap-bap,
then the bass drop low.
If the room went quiet,
then the Hollow said so.
Rain tick.
Bass low.
Rail cold.
No crown.
No throne.
Just the horse
and the mud

The Hollow remembers...
Every storm...
Every burden...
Every horse I could not save from leaving...
And still...
The Stablehand walks...
Mud ground deep... into the cracks of my hands…
Cold rain baptized... these broken bones…
Long nights dragging grief... through empty aisles…
While thunder rolled... beneath the stalls…
I watched the world... keep turning blind…
While horses carried... quieter pain…
Still I shoveled storms... through frozen dawns…
With exhaustion stitched... into my veins…
I am the Stablehand Prophet…
Weathered by the Hollow…
The storm still breathing low... beneath my ribs…
While lanterns fade... through sorrow…
The horses still remember…
Every burden I carried home…
No crown...
No glory...
Just tired boots sinking... through mud and snow…
Trying to hold... broken things together…
While the Hollow whispered... through the cold…
Some storms don't scream…
They settle inside the chest…
Sleeping there... beneath the soul…
Waiting for grief... to wake them again…
Ghost voices hanging... through the rafters…
Cold breath rising... through the dark…
808 buried deep... beneath the floorboards…
Like thunder trapped... beneath a human heart…
I am the Stablehand Prophet…
Still walking... through the weather…
Carrying storms these weary hands... were never meant to hold alone…
The Hollow still remembers…
And somewhere... beneath the silence…
The Stablehand Prophet…
Still walks the aisles…
Breathing... through the storm…

They ask why a stablehand talks to horses like they’re sacred…
It’s ‘cause the hollow taught me something the world forgot:
Anything gentle enough to trust a man… is holy.
And every muddy aisle I’ve dragged my boots down…
It became a chapel.
Mud ground deep in the cracks of these hands…
Barn dust packed heavy inside tired, weathered lungs.
I watch the lantern glow swaying through these old oak rafters,
While twenty souls breathe slow in the dark behind me.
Six months of days blur together like storms over hollow ground…
Frozen pipes. Broken gates. The weight of a life built on “useful.”
Most folks just see the labor and the dirt.
They don’t see the sacred part.
They don’t see how a horse lowers its head…
When the world’s finally quiet enough to hear your own soul breathing.
This is Mud Gospel.
It’s rain on tin roofs and the ghosts in the rafters.
It’s the lantern light swaying through a pitch-black storm.
It’s a fiddle crying like judgment at the stroke of midnight…
And 808s shaking the hollow floorboards loose!
This is stablehand scripture written in mud and mercy.
If the banjo ain’t grieving…
And the bass ain’t rattling the dust from the beams…
Then it ain’t the hollow.
The hollow raised a different kind of preacher…
One that learned his lessons from old geldings with tired eyes,
From mares trembling from rough hands and bitter hearts.
I learned more truth leaning against a horse in the silence
Than I ever heard from a man screaming his “certainty” from a stage.
Horses don’t care about your pride or your titles.
They care about your energy… your intent… your patience.
They’re looking to see if your soul is a safe place to stand.
A horse is a sanctuary…
A horse is a confession…
A horse is the last honest thing left in a world that’s gone hard.
And somewhere beneath these Appalachian storms…
The stablehand stopped working in a barn…
And he started walking through church.
This is Mud Gospel!
Let the banjos wail!
Let the fiddles cry!
Let the thunder roll through the hollow like a revelation!
Heavy bass shaking the muddy ground beneath these worn-out boots!
Ghost choirs singing through the rain and the lantern smoke!
This ain’t for the polished… it’s for the weary!
For the horsemen who stay when the world walks away!
Because something sacred still needs feeding at sunrise!
The fiddle carries the grief…
The banjo carries the hollow…
And the 808… the 808 carries the storm.
